Well, if we were interested in points or in whatever someone is making per click, then you'd be right.

However, we didn't set the board up for that purpose. This board grew out of the old Max Board. When the Max went down, Oddassy made an attempt to recreate the old Max community. It was never about points, pennies or even the porn, but was rather about a bunch of friends getting together and interacting. The mods and admin here don't like to think of themselves as "police" so much as facilitators. The rules that we have in place were designed to facilitate interaction and mutual respect. So, if someone is coming in here to do much other than hang out with a few friends and enjoy the view, then he's very much barking up the wrong tree. We are not so much a traditional porn board as we are the neighborhood pub, and maintaining that kind of ambience so far as we are able is what we are mostly about. As the site grew from just a single board, the more difficult the task became, but we're still here doing the best we can at it. So, you are exactly right that it comes down to why someone is posting. There are a whole lot of boards out there that really don't care why someone posts, but we very much do care.

So, the truth is that anyone is very welcome to come in here and post according to the rules that we have set up and interact with the other users, but we're not likely to appreciate point gamers or penny clickers any more than the neighborhood pub would be likely to welcome it's clients being solicited on the premises by a horde of salespeople.

The reason that we set up the automatic access thing was because the zero-post leechers were killiing us on bandwidth costs.

As for membership. Well, not to put too fine a point on it, a donation to help cover expenses is an immediate way in. However, as to the number of posts you might need, it's really more complicated than just tossing up galleries and replies. I'd say don't worry about that one. We'll tell you when we think you're ready.
